Since its arrival in the North American market in 2017, Spanish manufacturer ABC Compressors has significantly increased its presence, with compressors installed across Canada and in 19 U.S. states. For this reason, the European manufacturer recently opened a facility in Miami, Fla., to stock the most critical parts to optimize maintenance cycles, while also assuring a rapid response if any corrective work needs to be done in the field.
Although ABC Compressors has a presence in many sectors, the facility was set up mainly to serve the beverage industry. It will also respond to inquiries from different markets and other nearby countries, as per Its strategic location.
Now that ABC Compressors is approaching the market directly, the company believes it will stand out as a market leader in the coming years. Gonzalo Gabarain, sales director of the company matrix in Spain assures, “This is not a new market for us. We arrived at the beginning of the century selling PET compressor units to American OEMs.”
For example, the ABC HORIZON range has a horizontal configuration that provides stability, eliminating the use of anti-vibratory pads and doublé-acting cylinders on all stages, making it a more energy-efficient machine. Moreover, the variable speed drive plays an active role in the reduction of the compressor’s TCO.
