Rosemount CT4215 food and beverage leak detection system
Installed directly on a food or beverage production line, the Rosemount CT4215 food and beverage leak detection system uses quantum cascade laser/tunable diode laser technology to detect leaks at a sensitivity down to 0.3 mm. A high-flow vacuum pump draws air from around a package or bottle and delivers it to the measurement cell. If CO2 and other gases used in food and beverage packaging pass through the cell, they absorb some of the laser light, indicating a leak and triggering an automatic rejection of the container. A variety of customizable sampling heads is available for a range of package types, such as trays, pouches, bags, bottles and boxes.
