Wine labels offer taste of the country

Beginning in November, Wollersheim Winery, Prairie Du Sac, WI, began replacing the gray labels and capsules (photo, right) on 11 of its popular wines with new color-coordinated and graphically appealing alternatives (photo, left).

“Our goal was to bring the quality of the label up to match the quality of the wine,” explains Julie Coquard, Wollersheim’s vice president of marketing. In the past, Wollersheim wine had been available exclusively through the winery itself.
