Borden Dairy Company and certain of its affiliates have initiated voluntary reorganization proceedings in the District of Delaware under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. The company plans to pursue financial restructuring to reduce its debt load and maximize its value. Borden will continue operating as normal, under court supervision.
