Temperature management system prevents flavor degradation

The Fogg Temperature Management System in this video is an asset to hot-fill packagers. The system enables them to manage product temperature, and filling valve temperatures when line stops occur.

Fogg’s rugged bowl construction is great for maintaining hot temperatures. The product in the fill valves will tend to cool quicker; therefore the operator can easily send the trough into position to purge the product in the valves. This is completed by cycling the filler until production can be resumed sending only a small amount of product back to rework. The trough is equipped with a sensor which can monitor product temperature.
