Machine & Process Design horizontal live bottom surge machines, storage, and tempering bins allow for process line optimization, such as surging excess production that exceeds the capacity of downstream equipment and line halt for maintenance or cleaning. They provide continuous first-in first-out material flow and allow uninterrupted flow to packaging or further processing on demand for downstream equipment. The live bottom features no-leak bed designs and housing seals to keep product contained, thereby preventing cleanups and product loss. The units range from 50 to 2,500 cu. ft.
