Feeders offer accurate, dependable, versatile metering

Acrison Model 140 Series feeders have a metering mechanism consisting of a large conditioning auger concentrically mounted around a smaller metering auger. A single variable speed gear motor drives the augers independently at dissimilar speeds in a fixed proportion to each other. Rotation of the metering mechanism’s slower-speed large auger produces gentle unidirectional movement of material within the feed chamber, conditioning material to a uniform state, while simultaneously filling the metering auger from a full 360 deg for accurate product delivery. Available in three models with an overall feed range up to 3,400 cu ft per hr, the feeders feature all-steel, heavy-duty construction.
