Suitable for adding to existing lines, the Tetra Pak extrusion wheel uses a vertical rotating design that moves continuously at a speed synchronized to each line to produce up to 12,000 stick ice cream products per hour per lane. The stick is in place at the start of the production process, so the ice cream plus inclusions is filled around it. The extrusion wheel creates products with large-sized inclusions, such as whole nuts, real fruit segments or cookie dough chunks.
