The HRS heat exchanger links each of its three tubes in a series. Product enters through one tube, passes down the next, and then moves back up the third. Longitudinal baffles in the outer shell achieve a true countercurrent flow and maintain product velocity. Powered by a single motor and gear system, the RMP Series multipass scraped surface heat exchanger is suitable for a range of viscous and starchy foods, such as thick sauces, pastes, creams, and pet foods.
