Cheese shredders are operator friendly and versatile

FAM Centris 400C cheese shredders have throwaway blades and a USDA Dairy Division accepted-cutting head that consists of 16 cutting stations and can be preset, so the shred size remains consistent. The shredders can be used with hard or soft, sticky or dry cheese to cut V-shreds, oval shreds and/or crescent shreds. The FAM Centris 400C centrifugal shredder is intended for smaller and mid-sized companies, while the FAM Centris 400C Optitec and FAM Centris 400C Hytec units are designed for cheese processors with limited floor space. A grating head, capable of cutting a new variety of shreds, is available for all three models.
