The company has reportedly improved its energy performance by managing energy strategically across its entire organization and making cost-effective improvements to its plants.

The BBU bakeries that earned certification this year include three located in New York, three in California, two in Wisconsin, and one facility in each of the following states: Arizona, Iowa, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Utah.
