The Wonderful Company has committed to using 100 percent renewable electricity in all its United States operations by 2025. In 2007, The Wonderful Company invested in a ground-mounted solar installation at its Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds processing facility. In 2013, the company installed rooftop solar panels at its JUSTIN Wines, Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds and Halos facilities. This January, it signed a power purchase agreement with NextEra Energy to build a 23-megawatt solar project at the company facilities in California’s Central Valley. The company also is looking to source electricity from renewable energy projects, mostly on its property in the Central Valley.
