JBS USA Closing Pork Facility Indefinitely

Worthington, Minnesota pork facility will wind down operations to ensure existing product in the facility can be used to support food supply.

JBS USA is closing its Worthington, Minnesota pork production facility, which typically processes 20,000 hogs per day, due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19. In partnership with the state of Minnesota and Nobles County, the company will advise its Worthington team members to follow the governor’s stay at home order until returning to work. The company will continue to pay its team members during the plant closure.

The JBS USA Souderton, Pennsylvania beef production facility, which had been closed temporarily, reopened on Monday, April 20.
