Homestyle Direct announced the opening of a new meal fulfillment center in Lewisburg, Tenn. The remodeled 40,000-sq-ft facility, which is already in production, is designed to help double production and is currently shipping more than 20,000 meals a day. Homestyle Direct provides high-quality, medically appropriate meals to vulnerable populations, delivering more than 9 million meals annually, primarily to Medicaid and Medicare Advantage members.
"This is so much more than a building—for us, it's a promise to bring quality, choice, and accessibility in nutrition to people who need it most," says Jeff Barteau, Chief Executive Officer of Homestyle Direct. "This new location allows us to continue to grow and deliver healthy meal options directly to the homes of people in need. Further, we're able to serve both rural and urban communities, which is critically important to fulfill our mission."
Tennessee's strategic location allows Homestyle Direct to reach the Southeast and Midwest within 1–2 days via nearby FedEx hubs, ensuring meals arrive frozen for a positive member experience. The expansion brings 40 full-time jobs to Lewisburg.
