The new Certa sanitary pump from Watson Marlow is EHEDG Type Class 1 aseptic certified and handles viscosity better than traditional lobe pumps. It requires less horsepower to run and its low shear feature improves final product quality. Maintenance time is improved because no pump disassembly is required for cleaning. Because the pump features a single shaft, rotor, seal and no timing gears, it is less costly to maintain.
