Registering for the inaugural ProFood Tech (April 4–6, 2017; McCormick Place, Chicago) offers top-notch educational opportunities, in addition to access to the most comprehensive food and beverage show in North America. Powered by three of the world’s trade show leaders – PACK EXPO, Anuga and the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) – this biennial show is unprecedented in its ability to bring the industry together and address the key issues facing food and beverage processing operators.

Featuring robust educational programming, ProFood Tech attendees can take advantage of the offerings within the ProFood Tech Learning Hub. The Learning Hub will feature free, 30-minute educational sessions at the Innovation Stage and the all-new Regulatory Matters stage.

Each Innovation Stage session at ProFood Tech highlights breakthrough technologies, ground-breaking applications and proven techniques for addressing pressing industry challenges. Attendees have the opportunity to learn from industry experts on topics such as hygienic operations, improving sustainability, advanced spray technologies and using robotic automation to fill labor shortage.

ProFood Tech’s Regulatory Matters stage features presentations by industry experts on topics such as communicating during a food safety crisis, deconstructing Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) rules, combustible dust mitigation in food manufacturing, and constructing a FSMA food safety plan. A roundtable discussion will follow each session, giving attendees the opportunity to share ideas and best practices on these critical topics with peers.

“In the ever-changing food and beverage processing industry, staying abreast of key trends and technologies is critical to success. The ProFood Tech Learning Hub is an important extension of the show floor,” said Jim Pittas, senior vice president, PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies. “It offers attendees a space to hone-in on key regulatory challenges with industry experts and peers through the Regulatory Matters stage and explore unique solutions at the Innovation Stage.”

Also at the ProFood Tech Learning Hub will be the Manufacturing Innovation Awards (Tuesday, April 4 at 3:00 p.m.), as well as the Sustainability Excellence in Manufacturing Awards (Wednesday, April 5 at 3:00 p.m.).

In addition, the ProFood Tech Conference Program, produced by IDFA, will offer a wide range of educational experiences covering issues such as: regulations and food safety, consumer trends and marketing, food processing advances and technology, business and leadership development and health and lifestyle. The conference will kick-off with a keynote address by five-time National Football League (NFL) MVP Peyton Manning on Tuesday, April 4 at 8 a.m.

Registration for ProFood Tech is $30 until March 17 when the price increases to $100. To register online, visit profoodtech.com.
