Diffuse Sensor Provides Reliable Detection

A wide scanning range detects all types of products, even those with difficult geometries

Leuze Drt 25 C Dynamic Reference Diffuse Sensor

This content was written and submitted by the supplier. It has only been modified to comply with this publication’s space and style.

Designed for primary and secondary packaging machines handling confectionery and baked goods in a range of packaging materials, the Leuze diffuse sensor features three light spots that detect small and flat or tall and spherical products, as well as irregular shapes and contours or products with openings. The DRT 25C dynamic reference diffuse sensor “learns” the surface characteristics of the conveyor belt, enabling it to identify all objects that do not correspond to the belt surface as deviations. The surface properties of products, such as color, gloss, or transparency, do not influence the detection. No realignment of the sensor is needed when products or packaging materials are changed over.
