Tyson Foods Suspends Operations at Facility

Multiple cases of COVID-19 among employees cited as reason for the action to be taken

Tyson Foods has suspended operations at its Columbus Junction, Iowa pork plant due to more than two dozen cases of COVID-19 involving team members at the facility. The livestock supply originally scheduled for delivery has been diverted to other Tyson pork plants in the region to minimize the impact on overall production.
