The unit is intended for mid-range sensing and identification applications in automotive, transport logistics, food and beverage, and storage and conveyor environments. With an integrated heater incorporated into the "Ethernet" variant (not PoE), it can also be used in deep freeze storage applications with temperatures as low as -40 ºC.
