MULTIVAC centrifuge feeder can be integrated seamlessly into packaging lines
Designed for the automated infeeding, loading and packing of straight and uniform sausages, the MULTIVAC centrifuge feeder can be integrated seamlessly into packaging lines. An inclined conveyor transports the sausages to the constantly turning centrifuge plate, where centrifugal force orientates them at the outside edge of the plate, and they are taken up individually from the centrifuge ring. Then, a V conveyor transports them to a downstream compartment conveyor that carries the product, individually aligned in a separate compartment, to the handling module, where the gripper picks up the desired number and loads them into the pack cavity. The feeder loads up to 600 sausages/min.
