Minnesota Rubber and Plastics Portfolio
Minnesota Rubber and Plastics Portfolio

Minnesota Rubber and Plastics materials are available with certified compliance to the European Commission framework regulation EC 1935/2004, US FDA Title 21 CFR and NSF Standards 61 and 51; they are suitable for all seals used in pumps, valves, heat exchangers and other process machine components. Engineered for both hot and cold process applications, Qmonix 558CH high-purity EPDM rubber resists chemicals, as well as the ozone and UV used in sanitization processes. FKM 51 SCG carbon-backbone polymer resists harsh chemicals and ozone, and has a thermal stability to 500°F. NBR 536EG rubber withstands environments that require low-compression set, abrasion resistance and low-temperature performance, and resists oils found in food products such as milk and yogurt.
