Designed for use on food production lines, the METTLER-TOLEDO Product Inspection ProdX 2.0 data management software system connects product inspection equipment across the entire production line into a unified network. It records the date, time and location of a reject, as well as the reason for removal, and enables the storage of verifying documentation about the active managerial control measures taken to prevent incidents from re-occurring in the future. The system manages data from a range of product inspection machines, including X-ray systems, metal detectors, checkweighers and vision inspection equipment. Featuring a standardized OPC Unified Architecture server interface and able to support PackML tags, it can be seamlessly integrated into existing production line networks.
