NPE 2003 is set for June 23-27, 2003, at McCormick Place in Chicago. According to the Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI), sponsor of the triennial show, packaging professionals will discover new technologies, design innovations, and industry contacts of direct relevance to their work when they attend the show.

"In addition to the thousands of plastics processors and converters who manufacture packaging, the people who will profit from visiting NPE 2003 include package designers and specifiers for food, beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and any other companies that use packaging," says H. Gunther Hoyt, Chairman of NPE 2003. "Advances in polymer technology continually make possible new package concepts, raise the standards for package performance, and create new values for consumer appeal. For anyone with a need to know the next big thing in packaging, the place to be is NPE 2003."

The NPE 2000 show set three NPE records: number of exhibiting companies (2꯮), net exhibit space (1걮꽤 sq. ft./106겓 sq. m), and number of registered participants (90걮).
