Cargill has opened a $50 million, 10,000-sq-ft fermentation facility in Blair, NE that will produce sweet-tasting molecules to make zero-calorie EverSweet stevia sweetener. The facility is a part of Avansya, a joint venture between Cargill and Royal DSM.
