Affiliates of FCF Co., Ltd. have agreed to acquire Bumble Bee Foods’ assets for approximately $925 million. Bumble Bee has initiated proceedings under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code to facilitate the sale and reduce its debt burdens. Existing lenders have provided new financing commitments to ensure sufficient liquidity to fund Bumble Bee through the closing of the sale.
