Focused on helping women in the packaging and processing fields advance their careers, the PPWLN Learning Circle are an interactive extension of the PPWLN and OpX Leadership Network digital resource: Connect, Share, Inspire: Voices of Women in Packaging and Processing. This digital tool focuses on five key skillsets (business acumen, networking, negotiation, emotional intelligence, and communication) that enhance career-building and provides insights and inspiration from subject matter experts and women leaders in the packaging and processing fields.
Now, PPWLN is transforming this digital tool into an interactive series of “fireside chats” with industry pundits.
On March 21 at 1 pm, please join us as we dive into our first topic—business acumen—exploring why understanding the financial side of manufacturing is important to career development, regardless of role. Industry experts Bob Hersh, national managing principal of the manufacturing industry at tax advisory consulting firm Grant Thorton, and Lisa Propati, vice president & GM at WLS, a ProMach brand, will provide more information on the importance of understanding how money flows through an organization and its impact on company initiatives and processes.
