Allpax, powered by Pro Mach, will be working with the School of Nutrition and Food Sciences, Louisiana State University Agricultural Center to help North American companies produce nutritious, tasty shelf-stable food products. The partnership will offer manufacturers capabilities such as sensory science and packaging laboratories.

Allpax is providing an R&D retort, which reduces the cooking and cooling times required for the in-container sterilization of low-acid foods, to aid in the efforts. The school will evaluate the foods after retort processing to make informed decisions about their commercial viability.
