Liqui-Box to acquire DS Smith Plastics

The move will expand the company’s sustainable packaging portfolio.

Liqui-Box, which produces sustainable packaging solutions for the delivery of liquid and semi-liquid products, has entered into an agreement to acquire the DS Smith plc plastics division, allowing it to increase its creation of flexible and rigid packaging offerings. After completion of the transaction, the combination of Liqui-Box and DS Smith Plastics will be able to service customers from 35 manufacturing plants across five continents. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
