JBT Corporation set to acquire Proseal

JBT Corporation has signed a definitive agreement to pay £220 million, before customary post-closing adjustments, to acquire Proseal uk Limited, a provider of food industry tray sealing technology headquartered in Adlington, UK, which has additional production facilities in Richmond, VA and Melbourne, Australia. Closing is expected in the second quarter of this year, subject to regulatory approvals.
