New facility to be located in Ennis, Texas will receive up to $2.1 million grant funds from state to aid in project

Freshpet Ennis, Texas Pet Food Manufacturing Plant

Freshpet Inc. has announced it will be to spending $264 million to build a new pet food manufacturing facility in Ennis, Texas. The plant will be constructed in two phases. The first, which will be approximately 400,000 sq ft and will include all the infrastructure for the site, is projected to be complete by 2022. The second phase is expected to be complete by 2025 and will add 200,000 sq ft of manufacturing. The facility will create over 400 new jobs.
