Scoular Subsidiary Opens New Facility

New site will create a complete freeze-dried pet food supply chain and new partnerships with Petsource customers.

Scoular Petsource Facility

Petsource, a Scoular pet food subsidiary, has opened a new 105,000-sq-ft freeze-dried pet food ingredient manufacturing facility in Seward, Nebraska. Scheduled to begin operations in October, the $50 million facility will develop, procure, freeze-dry, and package high-protein ingredients as a contract partner for pet food manufacturers, and is expected to create up to 100 jobs once fully operational.

Gray, a fully integrated service provider specializing in engineering, design, and construction, completed the project in 17 months.
