Olymel Expanding St-Damase Plant

The project will help consolidate the operations of Canada’s leader in the production, processing, and distribution of pork and poultry meats.

Olymel is investing more than $31.5 million to expand its poultry slaughtering and cutting plant in St-Damase, Montérégie, Canada. The project will add 35,200 sq ft to the facility and will equip the plant with additional cutting, deboning, and tray packing lines, as well as new high-capacity, state-of-the-art equipment. Expected to be completed within approximately one year, the expansion will create over 80 new jobs.
