Fortress Technology expands operations and manufacturing capacity in Brazil

Fortress Technology, manufacturer of custom metal detectors, has announced the June 2012 move of their Brazilian manufacturing and sales office to a larger facility to meet production demands for Latin America.

“We are very excited about the new facility. By expanding, we are better able to accommodate the growing demands of our customers,” said Pierre DiGirolamo, executive director of Brazilian operations. “We believe the time is right to invest in our Brazilian facilities to support the demand for metal detection solutions, ensuring our customers meet the world's growing demand for food safety initiatives."

Fortress Technology has been custom manufacturing metal detection solutions in Brazil since 2005 for the food, beverage and manufacturing industries. The 13,000 sq. ft. facility located in Larajeiras, Caieiras São Paulo will increase manufacturing capacity in response to the growth its clients are experiencing in the region.
