Triangle Package Machinery Co. adds to its lineup of vertical form fill seal baggers with the economical Elwin, which will make its public debut at PACK EXPO Las Vegas, September 29 – October 1 in Booth W-2200.
The Elwin is designed by Triangle to outperform other economical VFFS baggers while delivering a rapid return on investment. All of Elwin's contact points are fabricated from stainless steel, while its open-frame, channel construction provides robust strength without the sanitation challenges of tubing. The result is a machine that’s easy to clean and allows for full visibility, ensuring all components are sanitized during washdown.
The Elwin’s UL-listed control box features a Rockwell Automation PLC and bilingual HMI (English/Spanish), and servo motors for both the sealing jaws and film belt pull. The economical VFFS solution also runs both supported and unsupported film and produces multiple bag styles, including pillow, gusset, single-side gusset, and flat-bottom bags. Backed by domestic parts and service support from Triangle’s Chicago headquarters, the Elwin is a sanitary, versatile solution that delivers unmatched reliability.
Designed to integrate seamlessly with all filling equipment, the Elwin can also be factory-outfitted with a Plitek valve applicator for coffee industry applications.
