Blackline Cold Storage Building New Facility at the Port of Houston

The facility, which will be owned in partnership with Artemis Real Estate Partners, will be designed to serve a broad range of customer requirements.

Blackline Cold Storage, Houston

Blackline Cold Storage and its affiliates are building a 298,000-sq-ft, state-of-the-art cold storage facility at the Port of Houston, Texas, on a 36-acre site it’s purchasing in the TGS Cedar Port Industrial Park. The purchase provides Blackline the land for phased expansion up to 650,800 sq ft at full buildout.

The Tippmann Group, an industry leader in temperature-controlled facilities, will handle the facility design and construction, which will incorporate flexibility for multiple segregated temperature zones (including blast freezing capability), 48-ft ceiling heights, up to 50 truck doors, and rail connectivity. The facility is expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2022.
