Arlington Brewing Company has broken ground on a new brewery at 15 Ryder Street in Arlington, Mass., marking the start of construction on a project nearly two years in development. The company is partnering with Massachusetts-based construction management firm Haynes on the project, which is expected to open in spring 2027.

The facility will provide Arlington Brewing Company with its first permanent home since its founding in 2021. Plans include a brewery, taproom, full-service kitchen, and outdoor beer garden. The location will also host live music and community events.

“Getting to this point has taken a lot of work, and we're incredibly excited to finally announce the groundbreaking,” says Tom Allen, President and Head Brewer of Arlington Brewing Company. “We've spent the last several years building Arlington Brewing Company without a permanent home. Seeing this project finally become a reality is a pretty amazing feeling, and we can't wait to welcome people through the doors next spring.”

Founded by Allen, a former engineer and longtime homebrewer, Arlington Brewing Company produces a range of craft beers, including IPAs, lagers, and traditional British ales. Its Trafford Ale earned a gold medal in the English Mild Bitter category at the 2026 World Beer Cup.
