Primo Brands has opened a new 200,000-sq-ft manufacturing facility for its The Mountain Valley spring water brand in Hot Springs, Ark., expanding production capacity to meet growing consumer demand.
The multimillion-dollar greenfield facility features one high-speed retail production line and two large-format production lines, along with dedicated logistics and warehouse space. The investment is designed to modernize manufacturing operations, improve production efficiency, and support continued growth of the premium water brand.
The factory is Primo Brands' first new manufacturing facility since the company was formed through a merger in 2024.
“The Mountain Valley grew because people found it, loved it, and told their friends,” says Eric Foss, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Primo Brands. “When a brand earns that kind of loyalty, our job is to make sure there’s enough of it to go around. We invest responsibly and strategically where growth is accelerating, and we’re proud to do it in Hot Springs, where The Mountain Valley has been a part of the community for more than 150 years.”
The Mountain Valley has sourced and bottled spring and sparkling water from Arkansas' Ouachita Mountains since 1871. The brand is known for its signature green glass bottles and also offers home delivery in 2.5- and 5-gal glass jugs.
According to Primo Brands, demand for The Mountain Valley has increased significantly in recent years. The company says The Mountain Valley and its Saratoga brand rank among the five fastest-growing premium water brands in the U.S.
The expansion comes as bottled water continues to gain market share. According to Beverage Marketing Corporation data cited by Primo Brands, bottled water accounted for 46% of U.S. refreshment beverage volume in 2025, remaining the country's largest packaged beverage category by volume for the 11th consecutive year.
The new facility reinforces Primo Brands' manufacturing presence in Hot Springs while supporting additional employment opportunities in the region.
