McCormick Acquires FONA International

With the purchase, McCormick will accelerate its flavor platform in the Americas and strengthen its position in clean and natural flavors.

McCormick & Company has paid $710 million to acquire FONA International, a leading manufacturer of clean and natural flavors, as well as certain of its affiliates. Headquartered in Illinois, FONA has a state-of-the art manufacturing and technical innovation center, and employs approximately 220 workers. McCormick plans to retain the FONA brand.
