Middleby Food Processing is pleased to announce the appointment of Olivier Marquet as Vice President of Global Protein Category Sales & Innovation. This appointment highlights the company's dedication to delivering industry expertise across custom protein production lines. With over 20 years in the food processing and manufacturing industry, Olivier has a proven track record of driving operational excellence and technological development.
Marquet holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Paris Sorbonne and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Engineering from AgroParisTech. He has held senior-level positions with leading food processing solution providers, including his role as President of Armor Inox.
In the new position, Olivier will lead category management teams specializing in protein, including Sausage and Hot Dog, Salami & Dry Cure, Bacon, Poultry, Sous Vide, Deli & Lunch Meat, Case Ready, Alternative Protein, Pet Food, and Egg Bites. His primary focus will be advancing innovation and optimizing line efficiencies. He will collaborate closely with industry partners, engineers, technologists, and brand ambassadors to expand Middleby’s offerings worldwide. Industrial protein equipment testing and recipe development are available in Chicago, with a new location opening soon in Italy.
