SICK, Inc. introduced its TriSpector1000 standalone, configurable 3D vision sensor at PACK EXPO Las Vegas. Able to inspect objects regardless of variations in color, height, shape or position, the sensor is intended for robot guidance, profile monitoring, assembly checks and quality inspections, or can be tailored to fit a specific application. It can be used for volume and thickness measurement and the inspection of box integrity, including content verification, completeness and emptiness checks.
