My name is Nicholas Shoene. I'm the Marketing Manager at PPM Technologies. PPM is an industrial equipment manufacturer based out of Newberg, Oregon. Our company specializes in conveying, frying, and seasoning equipment. Behind me here we have our FlavorWright All-in-One seasoning and coding system. We refer to this system as the 'All-in-One' because it integrates all of the subsystems needed to apply liquids and/or dry powders to various products. Some common ones that we might use the system for would be things like snack foods, so chips, nuts, popcorn, pretzels, as well as cereal products and sometimes confectioneries.
If we take a closer look, you'll see that the system begins here with this small electromagnetic vibratory conveyor, which we use to feed or meter product into the system's tumbling drum. From there, we have the dry powder hopper, where you will store dry powder, as well as meter it onto another even smaller electromagnetic vibratory conveyor which we refer to as the scarf plate. After product enters into the tumbling drum, we apply oil to it, and after that, we immediately will apply dry powder, where we'll then tumble for a short amount of time before exiting the drum. I should also mention that all of the electrical controls for the system are housed in an IP65-rated washdown control cabinet right here, and the entire system can be controlled via this small HMI touchscreen which allows you to input, store, and edit recipes.
So, who is this system for? I would say it is for, it is most beneficial for customers with smaller to medium-size production runs, but also larger companies that might want to use the system for R&D, or they want to incorporate multiple systems in a line, which will allow them to create product variety within a base product like chips, for example. So, if you'd like to learn more about this system or any of our other seasoning encoding systems or schedule a product demonstration, please visit our website ppmtech.com, and we'll get back to you. Thank you.
