(Atlanta, GA). Formerly used by Cincinnati- based Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewing Co. was an RSC that was post printed in three colors and required a corrugated partition to protect the bottles. The King Case brings a savings of about 18¢ per unit, says Schoenling operations manager David Wereley. Not only is it smaller, its eight-sided design compresses the glass bottles tightly together, preventing breakage and thus eliminating the need for the partition. Graphics are greatly improved, too. Mead preprints the 33-lb outside linerboard flexographically in six colors before producing the 26-lb ECT B-flute case. "The graphics are unbelievable," says Wereley. Also redesigned this summer at Schoenling were the 8-pack baskets supplied by Zumbiel (Cincinnati, OH).
