Case packing preserves shape of product

The Cheese Block Case Packer from Massman receives a standard 40# cheese block, wraps a sleeve around it (for stacking strength and to retain the shape of the cased block) and pushes the sleeved block into a wraparound case. See how it's done in this video.

The case is wrapped around the product, hot-melt glued and tamped and squared in the compression station to make a very tight case. All of this is necessary to preserve the shape of the cheese block during conveying, palletizing and shipping.
