High-shear mixing system built for multiple applications

Designed for powder dispersion into liquid, emulsification and homogenization, the Ross 200-L portable high-shear mixing system features stainless steel 316L wetted parts, sight/charge ports, an ASME dimpled jacket rated for 85 psig, chloride-free insulation with stainless steel sheathing, a weighing scale and NEMA 4X gas-purged controls. Each 3-in. tri-clover port on the dished top cover includes a dip tube that extends into vessel for suctioning/transferring finished product and incorporating liquid ingredients. Mounted on the cover in a vapor-tight sealing arrangement, the high-shear mixer has a 4-blade rotor that runs up to 3,600 rpm within a close tolerance slotted stator.
