Offering full-height horizontal airflow, the GEA S-Tec spiral freezer and chiller handles up to 7 tons of product per hour and can run single-shift to 14-day operations without interruption to defrost. The freezing process control continuously measures the product level of frozenness at the freezer outfeed and adjusts freezing time, air temperature, and fan speed. The freezer features a fully welded food zone structure assembly, open profiles, a fully welded modular floor configuration option, and clean-in-place options.
