Sidel EasyFEED preform feeder

With the Sidel EasyFEED compact, ground-level preform feeder, an elevator column lifts PET preforms from the hopper to a height of approximately eight ft. before being sorted and vertically driven into the rotary unscrambler’s bowl and positioned at the edge of a rotating table. Supported by the neck flange, the preforms are moved onto a rail by a filtered airflow and driven by two motorized, food-grade brush belts to the infeed blowing wheel. Capable of output speeds from 30,000 to 82,000 bottles per hour, the feeder can handle a variety of standard preforms and can be custom built into a clockwise or counterclockwise layout, where the infeed is at 90° or 45° to the oven axis.
