Batching system eliminates scrapped batches and lost ingredients

The Sterling Systems & Controls kitchen batching system provides ingredient lot tracking and traceability, as well as batch validation. A semi-automatic, multiple-bin batching system, it also controls and verifies operator involvement and actions. The system is available with a range of standard and optional features, such as multiple plastic or stainless-steel ingredient bins or totes; stainless-steel tables; a moving stainless-steel workstation table with a touchscreen display and platform scale; a control panel with PC and weight instruments; a choice of platform scale sizes and capacities; a barcode scanner; RFID scanning; and remote supervisory control.
