Arca Continental, one of the largest Coca-Cola bottlers in the world, is building a $250 million, 1 million-sq-ft production and distribution facility in Houston. The first Latin American bottler to operate in the U.S. Coca-Cola system, Monterrey, Mexico-based Arca is constructing the new facility, the first Coca-Cola production plant built in the United States in a decade, through its subsidiary Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages. The plant is scheduled to begin operations in early 2020.
