Middleby Bakery has named Vikrant Sawant as the Area Sales Manager for India. In his new role, Vikrant will oversee business development and sales efforts for Middleby Bakery, focusing on Biscuits, Cookies, Crackers, and Sweet Goods brands. He will also expand Middleby’s presence and deepen relationships with key industry players.

With over 17 years of experience in sales and marketing, Vikrant brings a wealth of expertise in managing large portfolios and developing strategic sales plans. Prior to joining Middleby, he served as Zonal Sales Manager at Bühler (India) Pvt. Ltd., where he was responsible for the HAAS portfolio across the Indian subcontinent. His work with clients in bakery and confectionery products, ranging from biscuits, cookies, and wafers to chocolate processing and alternative protein lines, has significantly impacted business growth in the region.

Before his tenure at Bühler, Vikrant held various senior sales positions at companies such as Vedic Pac-Systems Pvt. Ltd., Worldwide Machinery Solutions, and Wacker Neuson. His career has been marked by his ability to implement focused sales strategies that align with company objectives and drive growth.

In this role, he will manage a mix of existing and new customer accounts across the US Territory. Auto-Bake Serpentine is a Global leader in high- speed, high-volume bakery production lines boasting the highest output in the smallest footprint in industrial bakery.

Chris previously worked with Auto-Bake Americas from 2010 to 2014, then relocated from Chicago to Plano in 2015, where he remained with us as the company relocated our entire global operation from Australia to Plano. From 2017 until rejoining us, Chris has worked as a capital equipment technical sales expert for Zeppelin Systems and WAM Inc.”
