Designed for bakery products in hinged trays, the Multivac L 310 conveyor belt labeler achieves speeds up to 120 packs/min and accommodates label widths up to 500 mm. Suitable for a variety of different pack shapes from rectangular to round or oval packs, as well as special shapes, such as those for cake slices, the labeler enables hinged trays to be securely sealed on one or both sides. In addition to being able to apply a simple top label, the unit can apply a label in a C shape over three sides of a pack or in a D shape over all four sides, and enables overlapping the label on the underside of a pack. The machine can run label material grades from 80 g/m2 up to 170 g/m2 and paper labels with an adhesive. Fed in manually or transferred automatically from an upstream module, the packs are automatically labeled on the run.
